Hi! I am the owner and founder of Samantha Nass Floral Design, which was for 8 years a floral studio specializing in weddings and events. In Jan of 2022 we moved locations and expanded to a full retail offering.

I fell in love with Saratoga Spring after visiting it with my husband. In 2008 we purchased a 150 year old Victorian which we have been painstakingly renovating ever since!

I was born in Rome, Italy and moved to the UK as a teenager, where I lived before moving to the US in 2000. Professionally, and prior to establishing SNFD, I spent 20 years working for JP Morgan in the UK, California and NYC, holding various client facing roles. In 2014, when we finally moved from NYC, I left my banking career to pursue my love of flowers and design.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Jeremy and I married in Saratoga in 2008 at the National Museum of Dance, and have two wonderful daughters: Francesca “Frankie” and Graziella “Gracie”. Bruno, our Old English Bulldog completes our family.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I worked for JP Morgan in the UK and the USA in various relationship management positions. I met and worked with some really incredible people during my time at the bank ,including my husband, and at times miss the camaraderie that goes on in the trading floor. In 2014 I quit my job to move to Saratoga Springs to start my floral design business. As much as I was scared about taking the leap of faith and make the 180 degree move to completely change my career, it was probably one of the best decisions I ever made.
