I enjoy programming and process optimization and automation. Sounds weird but that’s what you get when you major in industrial engineering.
I own & operate the KaffeeHouse Saratoga as well as the Coffee House of Troy.
I’ve written my own database to keep track of food cost as well as for general administration such as timekeeping. If I ever find the time I’m going to connect it to the USDA database to calculate the nutrients of every item I serve and have that available on the website to lookup.
Apart from that I like railroads. It’s amazing how much knowledge goes into it. Steam locomotives are something of a pet peeve of mine.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Not much going on, mostly nuclear family everybody else died in WW2
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

The Burger King in Wilton. They make the best fries along the Northway hands down. Then there’s Chianti’s, Fabrizzio is a great a chef , I think of him as an artist. Apart from that the KaffeeHouse. Sounds prejudiced but after 5 years I still have the Turkey sandwich for lunch and am not getting tired of it.

That’s a tough one! I would love to pick the brain of the head of the Japanese central bank on how the Yen was brought back on course. But for a living person I’d have to say the person who invented AI to ask about their hopes and motivation for doing what they did. Meeting would be at a burger place because it’s not about the food.

I like that ski slopes are only 30 minutes away.
