I am Administrative Director of Recreation for the City of Saratoga Springs. I live in Saratoga Springs and enjoy being with my family while doing Saratoga things like going to the State Park, race track, and walking Broadway. When working or with my family I enjoy playing hockey and refereeing games.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife, Jessica and 3 kids live in Saratoga Springs
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Current position as the Administrative Director of Recreation: I love working in the City that live in. The best part is obviously getting to watch the kids and families enjoy playing in a program our department runs such as a sports program or summer camp. I have had many different past positions but for the most part they have always been with kids and families. It is just really rewarding to work with them.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Henry Street Tap room, West Side Sports bar and grill, and Pennell’s
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived in Saratoga Springs since 2010 and been in my position since 2012.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
That is a very difficult question. I have met so many people.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Greece because of the history.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A River Runs Through It.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Focus on the things you can control: work hard, do the right thing, be kind. If you do that then you will have no regrets.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Go fishing and site seeing in Alaska.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
haha…I would prefer silence but if I must I would choose Rolling Stones.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I don’t know.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Hopefully still working at the Recreation Department.

I don’t think there anything. Maybe that I sold insurance door to door after College.

Aruba
