Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Ava-I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and lived there for almost 6 years. The spring for 2009 my parents decided to move back to my Mom’s home town, Saratoga Spring, New York.
Grant-I have two amazing, hardworking parents named Sheila and Matt Sperling. I am a triplet and have 2 sisters who also attend The Albany Academies, they are amazing to be with! Oh, I can’t forget the best dog in the world, his name is Murray!
Sophia- My mom Sheila works in Real Estate, my Dad Matt works for Dell Technologies. I am a triplet, I have a brother and a sister. We have been living in Saratoga for 13 years.
What are your plans after graduation?
Ava-After graduation I will be attending The University of Oregon where I will be playing lacrosse, not sure what I want to study yet but I love forensics.
Grant-I will be taking Entrepreneurial classes at Hudson Valley Community College and will be working in Sales.
Sophia-I will be attending SUNY Brockport and will be study Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Ava- Chianti and Forno
Grant-Obviously Cantina, couldn’t ask for a better work environment plus the food is just fantastic! A tie for second, Sushi Thai and Smash Burger.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Ava- I would travel to Rome Italy for a couple reasons, one, I’ve very interested in Roman history and second the architecture is amazing.
Grant-Definitely the Caribbean, waking up to the blue water and the sound of the waves, no other noise, just a calm spot.
Sophia-France, I want to experience a different culture and of course eat the food!
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Ava-My favorite TV show hands down is Breaking Bad. The director Vince Gilligan made it that each episode is better than the last!
Grant-I have a lot, anything comical! I have recently watched Captain Phillips and Top Gun, not comedies but good movies.
Sophia-Anything that Adam Sandler is in.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
Ava-Always try and find the positives in every situation
Grant-The effort you put into school and sports will be the results you get out. Meaning, you put in 50%, don’t expect anywhere near 100%.
Sophia-“By the yard it’s hard, by the inch, it’s a cinch” do not procrastinate and get things done!
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
Ava-Dexter
Grant- Keeping up with the Kardashians
Sophia-The Office
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
Ava-I would I have lunch with Tom Brady because he has a great work ethic that I would like to have but he also seems to have a lot of knowledge on rising to your potential and trying to make your self the best that you can be.
Grant-I would pick Tom Brady to hear all of his stories and success, how he achieved it all! I would take him to Druthers and have a nice burger with fries with him!
Sophia-My Bubbie(grandmother), she died almost 3 years ago and I never got to have my last conversation with her or get to say goodbye. I would like to have lunch with her and just talk.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
Ava-The downtown area
Grant-How it is a small city and very connected but then we have internationally known places where people from all over come to visit. I love the race track, SPAC and downtown.
Sophia-Everyone knows each other, when you walk downtown you will bump into at least one person you know. Our community is very close.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Ava- Out of college finding a job that will make me happy and wanting to get up and work everyday
Grant-Working in luxury sales in Florida and having fun!
Sophia-Being a trainer and starting my family.
What is something on your bucket list?
Ava-Sky diving
Grant-Sky Diving, visiting Greece, France and Italy
Sophia-Spend one year just traveling
What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Ava-Favorite month would have to be July because it’s the middle of summer so all of my friends are around the weather is nice. Favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because my Dad makes an amazing turkey dinner. Favorite day on the calendar would definitely have to be my birthday, June 27.
Grant-June, Halloween and June 27, my birthday
Sophia-July because it is summer. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because of the food. The best day on the calendar would have to be July 4th because I get to hangout with my friends on the lake and it is my dogs birthday!
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Ava-Perfect skiing conditions on a blue bird day
Grant-My Dads burgers and playing a round of golf at Cap Hills in 75 degree weather.
