Saratoga Springs High School

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am in a family of five, and we all live in Saratoga. My dad is a professor at Skidmore and my mom is a pediatrician. My older sister Emilia attends Skidmore, and my younger brother Peter is finishing up his sophomore year at Saratoga High. We also have a dog named Bradford. We have lived in Italy and England, and love to travel together.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend Lafayette College, in Pennsylvania. I hope to study physics and participate in a music group playing the trumpet. After college I hope to go to graduate school, and eventually work in the field of science, helping the community.

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Taquero and Max Londons

One of my favorite movies is About Time

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
Everyone is trying to achieve their own goals, and have their own struggles. Try not to compare your success and your life with someone else’s because you don’t know what they are going through.

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
New Girl

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I would choose Emma Watson. She is such an amazing actress, but she is also a feminist and an activist. I think it would be really interesting to hear about the true treatment of women in Hollywood, and everything she has endured during her career. I would bring her to Sweet Mimi’s.

What is your favorite thing about our community?
The Saratoga community is so generous and kind. There are so many people who are willing to give as much as they can for the good of others. I co-founded a non-profit called Stories for Success where we provide Saratoga Hospital with books. Through this project I have met so many wonderful people who will do anything they can to help. It has made me appreciate Saratoga in a new way.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I hope to have multiple degrees, and an interesting and exciting job. I hope I am making a difference wherever I am.
