Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My mom and dad are amazing people, who have sacrificed a lot for our family.
Without a doubt, my mom is the strongest person in my life and the most loving individual I know. She has a radiant smile and the kindest spirit that I have ever seen. She not only worked hard to ensure I had a good upbringing, but that my siblings and I were given as many opportunities as possible. One of my favorite things about my mother is how nurturing and knowledgeable she is. She helped me learn from my mistakes and grow from them. She has always kept our family safe and has never backed down from a challenge. She is a courageous woman that I admire and love.
My dad is by far the smartest and hardest workers I know. He has sacrificed so much for our family and I wouldn’t be where I am today without his dedication and hard work. He makes our family laugh and continues to learn and grow through all the challenges that come his way. He’s always teaching me new things and I don’t think I would be so academically driven without his support and help.
My siblings are my best friends and number one supporters. They continue to cheer me on through everything I do. Although I may not get along with them 100% of the time they are always there for me when I need them. They are some of the funniest and smartest people I know. I don’t know where I would be without them. They’ve shaped me into the person. We’ve all been through a lot and I wouldn’t ask for a better support system then my brother Robert and my sister Renee.

What are your plans after graduation?
I am planning on attending University at Buffalo Honors College for the fall of 2022 majoring in Biomedical Sciences. I was selected to attend Cornell University for the fall of 2023 as a transfer student and major in human biology, health, and society. My goal is to pursue a career in the medical field so I can help relive the suffering of others.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Wasabi and Sushi Thai Garden
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would want to visit Japan, because of the scenery and food. My dad has visited Japan a lot and I have seen many photos and videos of the place and I think the country is breathe taking. My dad has told me so many stories about his time in Japan and I would really love to experience some of them myself. One thing I would look forward to the most would be the food. I enjoy their cuisine and how healthy every dish is. I have learned how to cook a few Japanize dishes and they are some of my favorite dishes.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite movie is Avatar. My favorite TV show is New Girl.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
Take a break from social media and just enjoy the people and environment around you.
Stop being obsessed with what everyone thinks about you and start being you. Not everyone is going to like you and that’s ok! The most important thing is to treat everyone with respect and kindness, even if you don’t think they deserve it. Sometimes all it takes is one act of kindness to turn some ones day around.
Words can hurt, so be careful with how you use them because you don’t know how they will effect some ones day or even life.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
I would want to be in Stranger Things or Greys Anatomy
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
Hank or John Green, because I know I would have a really interesting conversation with them and that they would make me laugh. I think It would be fascinating to ask them about all the crazy questions I have about the universe and life. I also know they are funny people so they would keep the conversation fun. I would take them to wasabi to get all you can eat sushi.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
How helpful our community is and how everyone comes together during a hard times.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself living in Canada working in the medical field.
What is something on your bucket list?
Skydiving!
What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Favorite month is January. Favorite holiday is Christmas. Favorite single day on the calendar is December 31st, because its the day right before we go into a brand new year.
